A new character in Season 14 of Overwatch 2 has been introduced for a while now, with the latest tank hero who comes with the hilarious nickname, Hazard, who comes with a variety of abilities, including jumping into enemies (or jumping away), using a wall of spikes to block enemies and deal damage, and jumping up walls to create an advantage. In addition, he has a defensive move that releases spikes to let enemies escape. This doesn't even include the Ultimate move that traps enemies in place to wait for the slaughter. Many people are interested in this character, so they try to train him to become good at it. Recently, Blizzard has come out to tell us about Hazard's winning statistics at all levels.
According to Blizzard, Hazard has a 55-56% win rate across all levels of play on PC. Compared to console players, Hazard's win rate has dropped 3-4%, which Blizzard attributes to Hazard's jumping ability in Overwatch 2, which saw him improve from below 50% in early playthrough, especially at Masters+, where his win rate dropped below 47%. Blizzard is making some balance changes by buffing his jumping ability and adding a Vault passive buff to better suit his tanky nature.
And most recently, Blizzard continued to adjust Hazard with some fixes, such as reducing the charge rate of his Ultimate ability. This change causes players to receive Downpour slower, but does not reduce Hazard's effectiveness or survivability (or so they say). The announcement did not mention the adjustment to Hazard's Jagged Wall, which some players encountered issues while playing. Who was killed by Hazard by creating a Jagged Wall to hit the wall. Anyone who has played Overwatch 2 for a long time will know that some heroes in the game are very overpowered when they are first released, causing the game to be unbalanced. But the team quickly updated to make the new heroes as balanced as possible. But some good heroes have been adjusted until they become messed up many times.
For anyone who has read this far and is a newbie interested in playing Overwatch 2, the game is now available on all consoles (also on Nintendo Switch). The game is free to play, but you can buy additional costumes. Your skill level depends entirely on your skills with your teammates. The game is not difficult to play, just pick it up and play, and it won't take long to master it. The hilarious new hero, Hazard, is also available to play now. Try practicing, and you might become a main character, who knows?
