Dr. Stone Season 4 Episode 1

After a long wait, it's finally time to air the anime that many people have been waiting to see the sequel soon, Dr. Stone. If anyone remembers, in the last season, the story ended with Senku and his friends being able to save an island that in the past was the descendants of astronauts who moved to this island, which is the same spot where the spaceship crashed 3,000 years ago. Here, there is white gold that Senku needs to use as an ingredient to create a potion that can cure petrification. He also saved the islanders from the village leader, who is an evil uncle, before traveling to America to find a way to build a rocket to the moon to eliminate Why-man, the cause of turning people all over the world into stone for 3,000 years. But before he could leave, he ran into a problem.

The problem is that Senku wants to travel from Japan to America within 40 days, but Ryuusui wants to take 70 days to travel to America. The way Senku said seemed round, but in fact, it was closer than Ryuusui's direct route. Because the world is round, traveling using the curvature of the earth is a shorter route than the direct route (close-to-life science). But traveling on the sea is not as easy as in the movies. Because the crew has to face many pressures and things. Traveling on Senku's roundabout route in 40 days, the crew has to work hard, hold the rudder all the time, and have to look in the right direction. This doesn't even mention the food they have to eat more because they work hard, which creates pressure that could cause the trip to fail. But Senku still insists on this matter. When opinions disagree, a bet is born.

The reason Senku had to travel to America within 40 days was because that would be the time when corn was abundant in America, which is the raw material for making a large amount of alcohol to create the recovery solution. If it took 70 days, it would be winter in America and all the corn would die, delaying the trip to the moon even more because it would take another year to plant and wait for the corn to grow. During that time, they didn't know what else Why-man would come up with. Hurrying up and making a rocket to go to the moon and save people was the most important thing right now.

In the gambling part, we will see the tricks of the mind reader Gen, who hid many tricks to deceive Senku. But he was able to counter and win. In exchange for being allergic to varnish, at the end of the story, it is revealed that in fact, everything Gen did in cheating at cards, he actually did it for Senku (but Gen also said that when he cheated at cards, he did it seriously. If Senku lost, he really lost). This is a psychology to trick the crew into accepting the hardship by telling the crew that both Senku and Ryuusui were serious. And Ryuusui did his best for the crew but lost. So everyone accepted the difficult journey by complaining and willingly doing it. It is an extremely profound psychology.

But all of the above, even if the crew accepts the hardships that will follow, it is not enough to make the crew endure the 40-day journey. Senku and Ryusui are well aware of this. So they prepare a casino and drinks, especially beer, to please the crew after work to boost their morale and relax them. No matter the outcome, 40 or 70 days, the casino and bar will be open to help the crew. Before ending with Gen feeling a little hurt that even though he is a skilled mind reader, he was narrowly defeated by Senku's scientific power.

In the next episode, it will be a journey to America. What will Senku and his gang encounter in the Land of Freedom? If you look at the anime cover, you will know what is happening there. If you go to America without anything happening, it would be too easy. This time, the enemy that Senku will face is one level higher than Senku's. No, several levels higher because that side has entered the era of industrial machinery technology. But Senku's side has just entered the era of steam engines that use oil. Anyone who has read the manga will know how intense this period is. And from now on, many more important characters will appear. I can tell you that it's extremely intense. You can follow it for a long time.

For those who are interested, you can wait to see the next episode. After you've finished watching, we'll analyze in depth here again to see what was interesting in that episode. So that anyone who missed anything can come read and learn here, including various little tidbits about science that we've brought to you. And for anyone who's interested in watching Dr. Stone Season 4, Episode 1, it's shown on Netflix every Thursday (this is from Season 1). Go follow it. See you next time.
