Rocket Raccoon in Marvel Rivals gets Grandmaster without ever attacking anyone

When talking about online team-based shooting games, if anyone is in the gaming industry or has played this type of game, they will know that one of the positions that people choose to play the least, but it is the most important duty in the game, which is the Support Healer position, or in layman's terms, the medical unit that treats teammates. Because the Support Healer line doesn't really go out to fight like other lines, but focuses on shooting and treating teammates. Plus, when attacked by the opposing team, they can barely protect themselves. They can't escape in time, and they have to wait for their teammates to come and help, so they have to fight. And this position is often criticized by their friends the most. Because of this, people choose not to play this line. This also happened with the game Marvel Rivals, where someone came out to brag that they reached Grandmaster rank 3 by playing as Rocket Raccoon, who only healed teammates and never attacked or killed anyone since playing this character.

This bizarre tale comes from a Marvel Rivals player named NoDmgRocket, who posted on Reddit about how he managed to climb from the bottom to Grandmaster III, dealing zero damage and eliminating all 108 matches over a period of almost 19 hours. Looking at his points, he's healed up almost 3 million points (the average heal is in the tens of thousands). That includes 3,666 team assists, blocking over 315,000 damage, and winning 71 of his 108 matches. That's how they did it.

For those who have never played or held Rocket Raccoon before, this character will be a teammate healer who will have 2 types of guns in one barrel. One type will be shooting a normal machine gun to eliminate enemies, but the gun will not be strong and will focus more on chasing the other side that comes in (but if hit directly with a full set, the other side will die) and another type of gun that shoots bullets to heal teammates and ourselves as well, with a finishing move that increases attack power for friends. Or simply put, this character is a true Support Healer.

NoDmgRocket said that he never shot anyone to deal damage, but he would use bullets to deal damage to Moon Knight's Ankhs, Loki's clones, and Rocket Beacons whenever possible, and these shots are not considered damage. Some people don't believe him and say, "If that's the case, then it's surprising that you never accidentally shot anyone walking by (in our language, it's called a gunshot) or accidentally shot the real Loki." While others have a similar idea, but the data has been confirmed that it is really like that. Other characters that are Support Healers can't do this. Only Rocket Raccoon can't deal damage to anyone throughout the game.

For anyone interested in playing Marvel Rivals, the game is now available for free on PC, consoles, and mobile. The game isn't gacha for team building (this game doesn't have gacha). All you spend is in-game costumes and decorations. Whether you're good at it or not depends on luck as to whether you'll get good or bad teammates. Try finding some and playing it, and you'll get hooked. Or, if you want to try it without hurting anyone like NoDmgRocket, you can (if you can stand it). Because many times we'll see Support Healers going out to fight and not healing their friends, which anyone who's played this game will understand.
