Kojima Gives Konami a Soft Nod in Death Stranding 2 On the Beach Trailer: It's Pure Snake

It's like a gentle pat on the face, but it hurts all the way to the heart. With the release of the latest trailer of the game about a young father and son delivery in a ruined world, Death Stranding 2 On the Beach, a sequel game that will complete the ending of the previous game, where everything seemed to end well because the power of love narrowly defeated the extermination of the human race. The rain accelerated time and the ghosts disappeared. But instead of the world returning to normal, it formed a new threat along with a new puzzle that connects to the first part. Sam had to pack his things, carry a suitcase, and connect to the world again. Everything seemed okay, nothing to criticize until the end of the trailer, which made Uncle Snake fans unable to sit still.

We believe many people must be wondering why gamers are so happy to see a man with a beard and a turban holding a gun, and the scene where the ship forms a head and a monster in the trailer for Death Stranding 2 On the Beach. We must go back to 2012, when the great god of the gaming industry, Hideo Kojima, was working at Konami. Suddenly, inside news came out that Mr. Kojima was having a problem with his parent company, Konami. It was so serious that the game Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain, which was in development, had to be released even though the game was still complete because it was missing the last part of the story. After Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain was released, Kojima resigned from Konami and was prevented from receiving awards for his game, Metal Gear Solid V, which he created. In addition, his name was removed from the development team's name, among many other things, until many people hated Konami to the core.

As time passed, Kojima's new studio did well because every game he produced was a hit. Moreover, people in the gaming industry wanted to be a part of the games he developed. One of them is Death Stranding. If you've played this game, in some scenes, you will be able to take part in a small war that has a feeling very similar to Metal Gear Solid. He also said that he is currently developing a spy game like Metal Gear Solid, but has not revealed any information yet. Until the most recent trailer for Death Stranding 2 On the Beach, the great god made fans sit on the edge of their seats when we saw a new character that appeared in the game trailer. He became a soldier to hunt us down in a dream world like in the first game. But what made fans excited is that this character looks exactly like Snake or Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid. You can tell right away that he intentionally put him in this game.

And if you're going to say that this is all made up and written by candlelight, or it might be just a coincidence, at the end of the Death Stranding 2 On the Beach trailer, we'll see the combination of the ship that Sam is riding with a large monster, which gives off a more giant robot vibe. But for Metal Gear Solid fans, they'll shout out loud that that's clearly Sahelanthropus, the Metal Gear robot from Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain (image below). If you encounter this, you probably can't say that it's a coincidence. But it's definitely a gentle slap in the face for Konami. Because we all know that Konami doesn't know what to do with the series, so they remade Metal Gear Solid 3 under the name Metal Gear Solid Δ Snake Eater, which will be released this year.

If we were to imagine in a vague way according to the language of people in the game industry, maybe what Kojima did in the Death Stranding 2 On the Beach trailer might be telling fans that Metal Gear Solid, even if it's a remake of the old one, it still can't compete with the original creator of this game. Because the soul of the Metal Gear Solid game is Kojima, who cannot be replaced by anyone. The most he can do is just adjust the graphics. He can't make a new game. While the true creator will know what Metal Gear Solid is and can bring it out to the fullest. Even in a game with similar characters, fans are this happy. If Kojima really comes back to make Metal Gear Solid, how happy will fans all over the world be? Just thinking about it makes us want it to be true.
