Marvel Rivals Player Discovers Trick to Charge Deadpool’s Ultimate Pre-Match

Ever since the loudmouthed merc in red, Deadpool, joined Marvel Rivals, there has been no shortage of things to talk about. He has brought a whole new level of excitement to the game, especially being the first—and likely only—character to span all three roles: Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist. You can pick whichever Deadpool suits your mood (provided a teammate doesn't grab him first!), with each role offering distinct abilities. However, what they all share is a unique way of charging their Ultimate compared to other heroes. Recently, players discovered a trick to start charging Deadpool's Ultimate the moment the match begins. Even more game-changing: you can actually carry that Ultimate charge over to other characters after switching! Let’s dive into how this trick is done

For those who aren't aware, Deadpool has a unique way of charging his Ultimate compared to other heroes. Instead of a standard numerical percentage, his Ultimate meter scales through ranks from A to S. A key mechanic to speed this up is by jumping on enemies' heads, which grants a significant boost to his meter. This trick was recently shared on Reddit by a user named DRXREforGOLD, who demonstrated the exploit in the Hall of Djalia map (the one featuring the large Black Panther statue). Just outside the spawn room, there are two statues that players can hit or interact with (available to both teams). By repeatedly jumping on these statues as Deadpool, players can max out his Ultimate meter in seconds. This allows you to have a fully charged Ultimate ready to go the moment the match doors open

What’s even crazier is that once Deadpool’s Ultimate is fully charged, you can swap to another hero and start with 22% of their Ultimate meter. If you switch back to Deadpool, jump on the statues to max it out again, and then swap back to your original hero, your meter will jump to 35%. Repeating this a third time can boost it all the way to 50%Essentially, the moment the doors open, you could have 50% of your Ultimate ready—or even more—while Deadpool himself will have his Ultimate fully primed and good to go. This is an incredibly broken exploit that gives players a massive head start

Is it cheating? Well, yes—it definitely is, as it involves exploiting an in-game bug for an unfair advantage. Honestly, the dev team was probably puzzled why opponents were able to pop their Ultimates just seconds after the doors opened. Now we know why. I’m certain the developers will patch this bug very soon. In the meantime, we can't really stop people from using it. The reason we’re sharing this is to raise awareness that such exploits exist. There is a very thin line between knowing a glitch to use it for cheating, and knowing about it but choosing not to use it because it’s unfair. At the end of the day, it comes down to your own conscience: do you want to be superior to others through cheats, or through actual skill? That’s for you to decide
