The first thing we see in the trailer is that the cast members appearing in Avengers: Doomsday are the same group from the early X-Men films. This includes Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), and James Marsden (Cyclops), all of whom have been confirmed to return. In the trailer, we see almost everyone, especially Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart returning to their roles as the older Magneto and Professor X. Their costumes and appearances have also been designed to closely resemble their look from X-Men: The Animated Series
And what seems to satisfy fans the most is the appearance of James Marsden as Cyclops.
