4 years passed by so quickly because when talking about the broken games of 2020, many people probably can't think of any other game than the dinosaur-killing game of 2020 that will be in the memories of fans for life, which is Cyberpunk 2077. If anyone can still remember, especially those who bought the game on the first day, they must have been impressed by the many bugs in this game to the point of being unplayable. Someone even said that if someone gave this game a New Year's gift (the game was released on December 9, 2020), they would be so angry that their children would become monks. The game Cyberpunk 2077 was aware of this and gradually fixed various issues. After 4 years, Cyberpunk 2077 is complete for us to play (this is the real game that we should have played 4 years ago). But even though the game is complete, some people with good eyesight still see the food in this game that is still unrealistically sharp and unappetizing compared to other games, which has become a hot topic of discussion now.
The story started on a Reddit thread by user Bottlecap_riches, who posted a picture of a hamburger, two sausages, and something else on a plate (pictured above) with the caption, "With all the details they put into this game, they couldn't make the food look any better... PlayStation 2?" The post has 7,400 upvotes and almost 500 comments, with Bottlecap saying, "All the little things we find in this game, like the blocky food, are a bit... lazy."
However, someone else argued, "I don't think they could have spent more time on the food physics when the game is so messy at the start. But I'm sure they could have easily done it if launch day wasn't rushed, because the liquid and drink animations in the game look so good." The defender would probably say something like, if the game was fixed everything would have been better, but it's been 4 years and everything has been fixed except for the food, which is still as angular as it was in the PlayStation 2.
Another user by the name of Either-Inside4508 posted a comparison image between Cyberpunk 2077's sandwich and Starfield's, and Bethesda's sandwich looks decidedly better (shown below). It's being called the Paradox Sandwich, and Either-Inside4508 said, "This reminds me of the 700-polygon sandwich with no loading screen vs. the 70,000-polygon sandwich with the loading screen." This is not to mention the food from other games that came before Cyberpunk 2077, which all looked great, to the point where some people complained that the food graphics should be improved 4 years later.
Now, anyone who is interested in seeing the square sausages in the picture can go to the Cyberpunk 2077 game to see it, because this issue has only recently been talked about. It is thought that the Cyberpunk 2077 development team may have forgotten about this issue or may be fixing it. Since the game has been fixed and is complete, it would be great if they could fix the small details in this game to make it look more realistic. We will have to wait and see if the game developers will follow what the players say. Let's wait and see.
