A few days ago in Japan, they conducted a survey about words that girls say to guys that make those guys' hearts beat faster (Japanese guys). Ranked 3rd was "Semakute-kun (Japanese guy's name) I missed the last train today. Oh no." That means she might come sleep in our room, or we might have to walk her home, depending on our imagination. Ranked 2nd was "Hey, Seimakute-kun. I came wearing my favorite underwear today." (whispering) After saying that, go think for yourself what it is. And the number 1 word that makes guys' hearts beat faster is "Semakute-kun. Let's go hunt lizards." And if you ask how this is related to the news, I have to say that many people, including Seimakute-kun, must have finished playing Monster Hunter Wilds and thought it was too easy. When we went to look for information, we found that Capcom had already told us that there would be a new content update in early April to please fans
This announcement came on Capcom's Steam page just before fans began to complain (as if they knew) that Monster Hunter Wilds was fun but too simple and not challenging. This echoes early reviews from various media outlets that similarly said that the game was too simple compared to previous games in the series. Some critics and hardcore fans were particularly concerned about the lack of truly challenging content, even in the higher-level missions. Before the game's release, Capcom had Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Monster Hunter Wilds director Yuya Tokuda tell fans that:
We’re so, so close to launch now and can’t wait for you to join us in the Forbidden Lands as we usher in the next generation of Monster Hunter together! But, before then we’ve got some exciting and fresh new information for you about the game’s first free content update, Title Update 1, that’s literally just been revealed at a digital event (at the time of this posting) by Monster Hunter Wilds producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, and Monster Hunter Wilds director, Yuya Tokuda!
New Title Update 1 Content Information! Release Window First up, we’re pleased to confirm that TU1 for Monster Hunter Wilds will arrive in early April. This will give hunters enough time to prepare for the new content, and challenges, that await them!
A New Level of Challenge! Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters! TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered! Another challenging monster will also await you!
A Place to Gather! A new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1! This area will be available to hunters who have completed the main story, so get hunting and be ready
Although the date has not been specified, fans can rest assured that Capcom will not let the hype fade. In addition to the new content updates in early April, there will be more additions, similar to what Capcom has done with other Monster Hunter games. Old fans know that this is just the beginning. The real thing will be the expansion pack that adds the name as we are familiar with, which should be released early next year (this is a guess because Capcom often markets itself this way). Those who have already bought it and finished playing can wait for the new content updates. If there is any progress, we will report it again.
